Tim had an awesome time at his Clear Lake Tournament
While he was gone we got more chicks
Then we had a party with our family for Connor's birthday
While we were at the hospital waiting for Cora, Maddie, Derek and Jack spent time with Nana Codie. They had lots of fun with monster trucks and dress ups and lots of treats.
Jack says, "I did not like being a princess" every time he sees this picture!
And then we took Cora home (I'll write her story soon, hopefully!). Jack was a little hesitant for the first few weeks, but he has warmed up to her a lot. He sings to her and tickles her and always asks to hold her. And I am breathing a sigh of relief! I was really worried he was not going to like her.
Since she has been here our frequent sleep outs have moved from the living room to our bedroom, just to make things easier when we have to get up with Cora. Jack and Tim built this awesome fort on the treadmill. I guess someone should use it :)
Can I just tell you how sweet it is to dress her up everyday. Sometimes she changes several times a day. I am really loving all the ruffles and pink and sparkles. We could use some more headbands though...
Derek and Maddie started Jr. Golf and are liking it. Derek is really into it and practices in the field behind our house on most days. I remember doing Jr. Golf when I was a kid and absolutely loving it. Until another girl beat my score. Then I quit.
We also spent a lot of time in the garden. We didn't push ourselves to much, but it was so nice to be able to get outside and move again.
Out at lunch
The boys club
Cora really likes her Dad but it's her Mom who steals the show.
I really love that she likes me :)
Especially after Jack, who has always preferred Tim!
Jack helped me with Cora's first bath.
Cleaning her feet
Two weeks old with the dog.
We took pictures of Jack every month with this same dog and it was so fun to watch him grow! I knew we would do it again.
